SF Racing Sport Coilovers for the 1994-1997 Jaguar XJ 6 are the best coilovers available for street-driven cars. SF Sport Coilovers were designed to give a wide range of ride height adjustability without reducing the spring travel. Each corner of the car has 32 levels (or clicks) of damping adjustability. This combines both the rebound and compression into one adjustment knob. The coilovers also use rubber top mounts to help reduce the noise that typically comes with high performance aftermarket coilovers. SF Coilovers come standard with an anodized coating to protect against rust and corrosion caused by extreme use and harsh external elements.

SF Racing parts are manufactured from high quality products sourced from around the world while still maintaining a very affordable price. SF Racing Sport Coilovers are the perfect setup for your daily driver.

32 levels adjustable damping
All SF Racing coilovers offer 32 levels of adjustment allow you to perfectly dial the ride to your handling and comfort needs. The dampening adjusts compression and rebound simultaneously for ease of adjustment.

Collars and Top mounts made from Aircraft quality 6061 aluminum ally for increased hardness

Top mount, spring perch, locking collars made from High Strength 6061 anodized billet aluminum alloy which not only guarantee an excellent durability but are also low maintenance.

The components are lightweight, anti-corrosion and rust resistant. In addition, the alloys provide a lower friction in the damper working space, in order to reduce breakaway moments.

Adjustable spring perch for height adjustment
Some vehicles have a separate rear shock and spring. We call it a “hi-low kit”. In this case you will have height adjustment via the spring perch and the lower mount of the shock. Vehicles with this type of set up can still go as lower as lower than true coilovers.

Adjustable lower mount allowing maximum suspension travel
SF Racing coilovers feature the ability to adjust your ride height without affecting the shock and spring travel. This way you can set your desired ride height without having to worry about bottoming out the shock.

Monotube high pressure design reduces oil leakage
The SF Racing coilover system uses a Monotube design in which the oil and gas are separated within the cylinder. When compared to twin tube designs the Monotube dissipates heat better, allows finer dampening adjustment and reduces oil leakage. Aeration and cavitation are a lot less common problems in Monotube design, which results in a better ride.

Pillowball Top Mount improve steering control, suitable for McPherson suspension

SF Racing Pillowball Upper Mounts give driver greater driving feedback when compared to OEMS rubber upper mounts. A spherical bearing is used in place of rubber bushing and the damping adjustable camber plate is used on certain applications which allows for improved tire rip and more accurate wheel alignment. This enables improved steeling control of the vehicle.

Camber adjustment assembly built in Pillowball top mount
Adjustable camber plate allows for the camber to be adjusted to prevent from excessive tire wear.

The camber angle can be adjusted for an optimum contact surface of the tires during hard cornering and fast driving into corners.

High quality Japan imported coil springs

SF Racing coilovers use only the highest quality steel for the spring manufacturer. The springs are produced from SAE9254 Japan imported high strength durable cold wound steel.

Exclusive Italy IP damping oil

SF Racing coilovers choose Italian IP F.A. made shock oil provides high viscosity index to withstand intense track usage and great for everyday driving.

Top quality Japan NOK damper oil seals for shock absorber.

A seal performs a central task in the shock absorber. It seals the oil-filled working space where the valve piston moves back and forth. SF Racing coilovers use only the best quality of Japan NOK manufactured seals to avoid oil leaks occurring and ensure driving safety.

Electroplated body for added protection from corrosion and rust
All of SF Racing coilovers are electroplated with zinc to prevent corrosion and rust from the elements of nature.

Dust boot to protect damper seal
Dust boots are standard on all coilovers. SF Racing also integrate the bump stop inside the dust boot. This is more efficient and is less likely to crumble to pieces and deteriorate like other company’s designs.

12 month limited warranty
SF Racing coilovers come with a standard 12 month warranty which covers manufacturer defects.

SF Racing products have a 1 year manufacturer's warranty against defects. This is from the date the product was manufactured (as stamped on each product). If SF Racing deems a part defective, a replacement will be provided for that part. Shipping costs must be covered by the customer. There are no returns, exchanges, or cancelations.

All Coilovers currently take about 2-3 weeks to ship.

Due to material shortages and delays, all coilovers are built to order and take about 2-3 weeks to ship. If an order is estimated to take significantly longer than 2-3 weeks, we will notify you. At that time, you can elect to cancel the order or wait. Once you proceed, the order cannot be canceled.

All shipping times are estimates and are subject to change without notice.

Ask a Question
  • Hi, I just wondered if you could send me a photo of the actually coilovers so I can compare to my own cars standard suspension. As I have a later XJ (2000). Many thanks, Mark

If your car is a 2000 XJ, the corresponding chassis code should be X308 (SKU# SF-JA04-03), not X300. The shocks are different from the X300.

  • Congrats on being the first coilover setup for the x300! I’ve been trying to find someone to make a custom set or help with other compatible setups. My only question is this, the x300 had independent suspension front and rear; and this setup you have is a one piece coilover for the front. How would this be installed?

The front is a separate shock and spring. The rear is a true coilover. The photo on the product page is not accurate.

  • How does the front spring sit? in the original spring position or over the shock? The attached diagram mentioned in one of the answer is not showing up at all.

Front is a true coilover. Rear are separated.

  • Hi there. I have a 1994 jaguar xj40. I am told that it had the same suspension as the x300. Will these fit my car? Also I'm uk based. Do you do shipping to the u.k?

We do ship there. We can only guarantee the fitment on the vehicle listed, but you're welcome to compare your factory suspenson to ours visually to try and determine if it will. Please email us and we will send you a photo. sales@sfracing-usa.com

  • Hi All, my question is maybe stupid ! but i would like to know if those coilover (SF Racing Sport Coilovers - 1994-1997 Jaguar XJ6 X300) are compatible with my 1995 4.0L XJ6 ? If I remember well for the rear suspension there are 2 springs per side ? for the rear : 1 coilover replace the 2 springs per side ? Thanks a lot Regards

Yes, this will fit. It will match your factory suspension setup.

  • Are these direct bolt in coilovers? I'm having trouble understanding how these would mount with the cars suspension setup

    Please see the attached diagram.
