Description

SF Racing Sport Coilovers for the 1989-1993 Porsche 911 Carrera2 AWD are the best coilovers available for street-driven cars. SF Sport Coilovers were designed to give a wide range of ride height adjustability without reducing the spring travel. Each corner of the car has 32 levels (or clicks) of damping adjustability. This combines both the rebound and compression into one adjustment knob. The coilovers also use rubber top mounts to help reduce the noise that typically comes with high performance aftermarket coilovers. SF Coilovers come standard with an anodized coating to protect against rust and corrosion caused by extreme use and harsh external elements.

SF Racing parts are manufactured from high quality products sourced from around the world while still maintaining a very affordable price. SF Racing Sport Coilovers are the perfect setup for your daily driver.

32 levels adjustable damping
All SF Racing coilovers offer 32 levels of adjustment allow you to perfectly dial the ride to your handling and comfort needs. The dampening adjusts compression and rebound simultaneously for ease of adjustment.

Collars and Top mounts made from Aircraft quality 6061 aluminum ally for increased hardness

Top mount, spring perch, locking collars made from High Strength 6061 anodized billet aluminum alloy which not only guarantee an excellent durability but are also low maintenance.

The components are lightweight, anti-corrosion and rust resistant. In addition, the alloys provide a lower friction in the damper working space, in order to reduce breakaway moments.

Adjustable spring perch for height adjustment
Some vehicles have a separate rear shock and spring. We call it a “hi-low kit”. In this case you will have height adjustment via the spring perch and the lower mount of the shock. Vehicles with this type of set up can still go as lower as lower than true coilovers.

Adjustable lower mount allowing maximum suspension travel
SF Racing coilovers feature the ability to adjust your ride height without affecting the shock and spring travel. This way you can set your desired ride height without having to worry about bottoming out the shock.

Monotube high pressure design reduces oil leakage
The SF Racing coilover system uses a Monotube design in which the oil and gas are separated within the cylinder. When compared to twin tube designs the Monotube dissipates heat better, allows finer dampening adjustment and reduces oil leakage. Aeration and cavitation are a lot less common problems in Monotube design, which results in a better ride.

Pillowball Top Mount improve steering control, suitable for McPherson suspension

SF Racing Pillowball Upper Mounts give driver greater driving feedback when compared to OEMS rubber upper mounts. A spherical bearing is used in place of rubber bushing and the damping adjustable camber plate is used on certain applications which allows for improved tire rip and more accurate wheel alignment. This enables improved steeling control of the vehicle.

Camber adjustment assembly built in Pillowball top mount
Adjustable camber plate allows for the camber to be adjusted to prevent from excessive tire wear.

The camber angle can be adjusted for an optimum contact surface of the tires during hard cornering and fast driving into corners.

High quality Japan imported coil springs

SF Racing coilovers use only the highest quality steel for the spring manufacturer. The springs are produced from SAE9254 Japan imported high strength durable cold wound steel.

Exclusive Italy IP damping oil

SF Racing coilovers choose Italian IP F.A. made shock oil provides high viscosity index to withstand intense track usage and great for everyday driving.

Top quality Japan NOK damper oil seals for shock absorber.

A seal performs a central task in the shock absorber. It seals the oil-filled working space where the valve piston moves back and forth. SF Racing coilovers use only the best quality of Japan NOK manufactured seals to avoid oil leaks occurring and ensure driving safety.

Electroplated body for added protection from corrosion and rust
All of SF Racing coilovers are electroplated with zinc to prevent corrosion and rust from the elements of nature.

Dust boot to protect damper seal
Dust boots are standard on all coilovers. SF Racing also integrate the bump stop inside the dust boot. This is more efficient and is less likely to crumble to pieces and deteriorate like other company’s designs.

All Coilovers ship in about 5-7 business days.

All SF Racing Coilovers are hand-built to order and take about 5-7 business days to ship. If an order is estimated to take significantly longer than this time period, we will notify you. At that time, you can elect to cancel the order or wait. If you decide to proceed, the order cannot be canceled.

All shipping times are estimates and are subject to change without notice.

  • All coilovers fit 2WD vehicles unless specified AWD
  • All coilovers are designed to lower the vehicle. Factory ride height cannot be achieved for most applications.
  • Notes regarding electronic damping (EDC, DDS, etc.) pertain to physical fitment only. SF Racing coilovers DO NOT interface w/ OEM electronic damping control systems. Additional parts may be needed to remove error codes if electronics exist with the OEM suspension.
  • Pillowball Mounts DO NOT mean Camber Plates. Pillowball refers to the type of bushing.
